Bored County was an experimentation phase directly in the middle of Covid and moving to Orange County. It was a way to explore deeper feelings and use color and shape to create a character and story without a clear thought going into the piece.

It was a world I lived in for the years of isolation and a new chapter in life. Moving from New York in 2020 to California was a change and this was my way to process those changes. Using the canvas over and over again in layers until the final piece resulted in opaque and transparent layers of past illustrations to peak through to be apart of the final result.
